In addition to building sites, I've included a few samples of ideas for projects, such as recognizing how "Graphics are Everywhere," like this example from 2017, (of a former student at a previous school); Alec took photos of signs in the areas his family was vacationing, adding commentary (also known as "Reflective Writing") about each Photo he took. I frequently use this assignment when students take extended vacations, as well as at the beginning of a school year, to get students thinking about how Art and Design are everywhere. In addition to signs, students can photograph menus from restaurants their families go to in their neighborhoods, as well as on vacation.
